Mr. Paul Mazer, Esq., Partner, brings extensive experience as both outside and in-house counsel, with a specialization in employment and labor law. Mr. Mazer has a robust legal background, having previously served as Assistant General Counsel for one of the largest health systems in the country, where he provided labor and employment counsel for over 50,000 employees.

His tenure saw him representing hospitals in grievance and arbitration proceedings, negotiating collective bargaining agreements, and advising on responses to union activities.

As a previous Associate at Genova Burns LLC, he interpreted and trained employers on collective bargaining, developed strategies for labor arbitrations, and defended employers in NLRB hearings. He also provided comprehensive HR counseling, including compliance with state and federal regulations, policy implementation, and handling investigations.

Mr. Mazer's career includes serving as Division Counsel for an international facility management company where he developed negotiating strategies for collective bargaining, defended employers in labor arbitration hearings, and created HR policies to ensure regulatory compliance. He also operated his own practice, providing legal counsel focused on employment and labor law.

Mr. Mazer's early career was marked by positions in the private sector where he defended employers in litigation and advised on compliance with employment laws. He began his legal journey as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable John C. Lifland of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey and as a Board Agent Intern for the NLRB.

Mr. Mazer holds a Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University School of Law, where he received the Raymond Del Tufo Constitutional Law Award and served as Editor-In-Chief of the Seton Hall Legislative Journal. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with a double major in Political Science and History and a Certificate in Jewish Studies. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey, New York, and the U.S. District Courts for the District of New Jersey, the Southern District of New York, and the Eastern District of New York.
