Genova Burns Welcomes Mazer Back To Firm - Newark-based Firm Also Adds Laster As Associate

Paul Mazer, an accomplished employment and labor attorney who previously worked at Genova Burns LLC, is returning to the Newark-based firm as a Partner, it announced this week.

Genova Burns also announced the arrival of Marasia Laster as an Associate.

Mazer brings a wealth of experience in employment and labor law, having previously served as assistant general counsel for Prime Healthcare, the fifth-largest for-profit health care system in the country.

Laster, a graduate of Rutgers Law School, brings a strong background in corporate law.

Prior to joining the firm, Laster represented clients in complex transactions, including mergers & acquisitions, financing and joint ventures. Her experience includes drafting commercial agreements and managing transaction processes, showcasing her ability to handle intricate legal matters.
