Partner Angelo J. Genova will receive the “William ‘Jazz’ Jones Brightest Star Award” from the Boys and Girls Clubs of Newark at a Prudential Center reception on Tuesday, June 17th. Extremely dedicated to helping improve the quality of life for inner city children and their families, Mr. Genova is being bestowed this honor as recognition for his many years of service. He joins a distinguished list of previous “Brightest Star Award” receipts including Queen Latifah, Muhammad Ali and former Governors Thomas H. Kean and Christine Todd Whitman. Presenting this award will be Ted Wells, litigation partner at the New York law firm of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP. Mr. Genova is a trustee of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Newark.
