Genova Burns Continues Partnership With The Salvation Army For Angel Tree Initiative Benefitting Needy Families In The Newark Area During The Holidays

Genova Burns LLC is proud to have teamed up with The Salvation Army again this year for their Angel Tree Program, benefitting needy families in the Newark area during the holiday season.

The Salvation Army Newark serves children from “Tier-One needs” local schools through their afterschool programs, case management programs, relationships with schools in the area, or anyone who registers through another avenue. Selected children into the Angel Tree program are allowed to ask for three toy wishes, one of which will be fulfilled by an Angel. The unwrapped gifts are then set up in a "toy shop" on the Salvation Army premises so that parents can come to "shop" and personally pick out a gift for their children, preserving their dignity and enabling them to choose the gift that best suits their child.

Program Description

"Every child deserves to experience the joy of Christmas morning. The Salvation Army Angel Tree program helps provide Christmas gifts for hundreds of thousands of children around the country each year. Once a child or senior adult has been registered and accepted as an Angel their Christmas wish list is shared with donors in your community who purchase gifts of new clothing and toys.
