Genova Burns Continues Expanding Team with New Counsel and Associates

Genova Burns is pleased to announce the expansion of its professional team with new Counsel and Associates.

Joining as Counsel are Brigette N. Eagan and Lawrence Bluestone.  Kevin R. Miller, Aaron C. Carter and John A. Grey have become Associates of the Firm.

Brigette N. Eagan joins Genova Burns as Counsel in its Employment Law & Litigation Practice Group, providing clients with human resources counseling, human resources training and defense litigation counseling. She represents employers and management in all aspects of employer/employee relations including wage and hour audits before administrative agencies and State and Federal Courts. Ms. Eagan earned her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law and her B.A. from Rutgers University.

Lawrence Bluestone returns to Genova Burns' office as Counsel in its Complex Commercial Litigation and Intellectual Property Law Practice Group. Mr. Bluestone will devote his practice to matters of complex commercial litigation and appellate law. He possesses special competence in matters involving intellectual property rights having represented generic drug manufacturers in mutli-million dollar Hatch-Waxman Act litigation. Mr. Bluestone earned his J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and a B.A. from Tufts University.

Kevin R. Miller joins Genova Burns as an Associate and member of its Complex Commercial Litigation Practice Group. Mr. Miller served as a Judicial Law Clerk to Honorable Kenneth J. Grispin, P.J.Cv. in the Superior Court of New Jersey, and earlier as a Legislative Aide to Assemblyman Wayne P. DeAngelo. He received his J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law - Camden, where he served on the editorial board of the Rutgers Law Journal, and received his B.A. from Rutgers University.

Aaron C. Carter joins Genova Burns as an Associate and member of its Labor Law and Employment Law & Litigation Practice Groups. He served as State Deputy Field Director for the Democratic National Committee, 2010-11, concentrating on voter turnout in Florida. Mr. Carter received his J.D. from William & Mary Law School and B.A. from Princeton University. He clerked for the Hon. Travis L. Francis A.J.S.C. in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Middlesex County and was a member of the William & Mary Environmental Law and Policy Review journal.

John A. Grey joins Genova Burns as an Associate and member of the Trusts & Estates Practice Group.  He brings experience in handling estate and gift tax planning for high net worth clients as well as IRS audits and tax controversies to the Firm's practice group. Mr. Grey received an L.L.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law, his J.D., cum laude, from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and his B.A. from the Joseph A. Sellinger School of Business and Management at Loyola College.
