Partner Douglas Solomon will take part in a live webinar entitled “OSHA Rules and Regulations – What You Need to Know” on Tuesday, April 21st. Mr. Solomon will explain the complexities of OSHA retaliation such as OSHA regulations' explicit protections of protected activity, the complaint process for OSHA retaliation, the legal test for proving retaliation, as well as recent developments in the subject matter. Panelists will review the fundamentals of the Occupational Health & Safety Act (1970) as well as discuss the Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission and the extent of its authority. Attendees will learn about the statutes involved in OSHA legal practice, enforcement of and compliance with the statutes, regulations promulgated, and the role of the Commission and the courts in appeals relating to OSHA citations and practices. Other issues addressed will include NFPA changes, the SVE Program and practices that may put an organization at risk.
