Bottitta Will Instruct “What NJ Attorneys Need to Know About NY Practice” for NJICLE

Joseph A. Bottitta, Of Counsel with Genova Burns and former President of the New Jersey State Bar Association, will present an NJICLE course on Oct. 12 on the subject of “What New Jersey Attorneys Need to Know About New York Civil Practice.” This program will provide a working knowledge of statewide procedures and local practices that are unique to the New York State Supreme Court and the New York City Civil Court systems. Mr. Bottitta will offer a practical guide for New Jersey attorneys who are licensed in New York and need to handle matters in the New York court system. Whether you’re currently handling New York cases or are looking to expand your practice into the Empire State, this program will provide the information you need to handle clients that come your way. In addition, the speakers will prepare paralegals to track appearances and file documents with the New York courts.
