Partner Angelo J. Genova and Partner Peter R. Yarem Secure $13.9 million Judgment Against Developer

A Bergen County Superior Court Judge recently awarded $13.9 million to a Genova Burns client in a commercial dispute between its client and a Bergen County developer. The judgment comes after years of litigation and pre-judgment appeals which reached the New Jersey Supreme Court before remand to the trial court. Genova and Yarem represented the plaintiff, who has pursued payment from the developer stemming from the developer’s $46 million real estate purchase of a 16 acre property in Fort Lee, New Jersey in 2003.
