GBV Employment Law & Litigation Practice Group Holds ADA Seminar

Partner James Bucci and Associates Dena B. Calo and Shannon A. Morales, members of the Genova, Burns & Vernoia Employment Law & Litigation Practice Group, will be presenting a seminar entitled, “ADA and the Impact of the 2008 Amendments in New Jersey.” The seminar will cover issues regarding who is considered disabled, placing greater focus on the employer’s actions and not the employee’s disability, what is a reasonable accommodation and requirements for medical and drug testing and recordkeeping. This seminar is designed for human resource managers, attorneys, benefits managers, risk managers, rehabilitation specialists, insurance administrators and personnel managers. The seminar will be held on Thursday, March 19th from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Philadelphia – Cherry Hill. Mr. Bucci and Ms. Calo are based in the firm’s Camden, NJ office and Ms. Morales is based in the Newark, NJ office.
