Angelo J. Genova Co-Authors Article Regarding Municipal Vacancy Law

Firm Chairman & Managing Partner Angelo J. Genova co-authored an article for the New Jersey League of Municipalities entitled, "What is an Abstention Under the Municipal Vacancy Law?". The article discusses two 2013 Appellate Division opinions with respect to a mayor's authority to fill a vacancy when no majority vote of the governing body is reached, and when certain members of the governing body abstain from voting.
