Michael McQueeny to Speak at NJ Cannabis Insider Event

Michael C. McQueeny, Firm Counsel and Cannabis Practice Group Co-Chair, will be speak at the New Jersey Cannabis Insider Live event, “The Road to Legalization,” on Tuesday, March 10^th at the New Jersey Convention and Exposition Center in Edison.   Mr. McQueeny has been featured as a speaker for the New Jersey Cannabis Insider Live Event every year since its inception. He will be part of the panel entitled “Where Towns Stand: NIMBY or Come on In.” (NIMBY, which stands for “Not In My Backyard,” means residents’ opposition to something they perceive as unpleasant or potentially dangerous in their own neighborhood.

The program is New Jersey’s premier cannabis business and networking conference, providing an update on the Garden State cannabis market, licensing for cannabis businesses, hemp and CBD (cannabidiol, an active ingredient in cannabis), NIMBY, medical cannabis research, and New Jersey’s commitment to diversity in the cannabis industry.
