Laurence D. Laufer to Speak at New York State Bar Association Annual Meeting on Recent Major Developments in Campaign Finance

Partner Laurence D. Laufer will speak at the New York State Bar Association Annual Meeting in an educational program entitled, “The State Legislature and the State Constitution: The Path Forward” on Tuesday, January 26th.  Mr. Laufer will specifically address major elements of recent New York legislative proposals to reform campaign financing, including consideration of the impact of today’s landmark U.S. Supreme Court decision in the Citizens United case.  The program will include speakers Justin Levitt of the Brennan Center for Justice and Mark F.
