David A. De Simone, Esq., is a servant leader in healthcare with proven record of results oriented management, strategy, business growth, transactions, value based arrangements, and risk/legal solutions. He brings his award winning leadership and customer service in acute care, ambulatory and post-acute care to Genova Burns.

Mr. De Simone has over fifteen years of proven leadership experience. In previous roles with CentraState Healthcare System and AtlantiCare Health System, he was an integral part of strategic planning and growth initiatives that exceeded $1 billion for these institutions. He has also served as VP/General Counsel for Catholic Health and Human Services and as Associate General Counsel for Hackensack Meridian Health System.

He has created innovative joint venture structures for health systems, a long-term acute care hospital, ambulatory surgery centers, long term care, physical therapy and physician practices. Previously, he worked on the Senate Staff of United States Senator Bill Bradley and in the Compliance Unit of Empire Blue Cross and Blue Shield. He is a past member of the Program Committee of the Physician and Hospital Institute of the American Health Law Association (AHLA), a Co-Chair of AHLA’s Accountable Care Organization Task Force and a participant on the wage task force and property tax task force of the New Jersey Hospital Association.
Mr. De Simone has his J.D. from Seton Hall Law School, a Masters in Healthcare Leadership (MHL) from Brown University, and an undergraduate degree in Organizational Behavior and Management from Brown University. He is also a Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management.

He currently serves as Of Counsel at Genova Burns, specializing in Business Strategy and is looking forward to bringing his . expertise to Genova Burns.
