Emily K. Montagna, Counsel, is a member of the Corporate Law & Business Transactions group.

Ms. Montagna has demonstrated a strong commitment to corporate transactions, particularly concerning the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA). She has authored several articles providing updates and insights on the CTA's implementation and reporting requirements. Notably, she co-authored an article discussing the revival of the CTA's reporting requirements following a Supreme Court decision and the importance of compliance with beneficial ownership reporting.

Her publications on the CTA reflect her commitment to  the corporate world and her dedication to keeping clients informed about critical regulatory developments.

Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Montagna served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Linda Lordi Cavanaugh, J.S.C. in the Superior Court of New Jersey - Essex Vicinage, Family Division.

Ms. Montagna received her Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University School of Law (2019). While in law school, she was an Associate Editor of the Seton Hall Circuit Review as well as a member of the Civil Litigation and Practice Clinic.  Ms. Montagna received her Bachelor of Arts from The College of New Jersey (2016) and served as Class President during her junior and senior years.

She was admitted to the New Jersey State Bar in 2019.
