TODAY AT 12 NOON: U.S. Chamber of Commerce Small Business Grant Applications Go Live
April 20, 2020 | By: Keith A. Krauss, Esq.
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation has announced that it, through its Save Small Business Fund, will make $5,000 grants to small employers, with between 3 to 20 employees. Such small employers must be located in an economically vulnerable community (i.e. an area at the bottom 80% of the most economically distressed zip codes in the United States, as ranked by the Distressed Communities Index) and have been harmed financially by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Funds must be applied towards business expenses, and businesses are expected to respond to a follow-up survey as to how funds were spent and the impact made by the grant.
