With more than 35 years of experience in private practice as an attorney and an accountant, Bruce L. Wolff, Esq., brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Genova Burns LLC, where he represents companies, pension funds, and executives in all aspects of employee benefits and executive compensation law.

Bruce's practice covers a wide array of areas, including tax and ERISA issues related to qualified retirement plans, nonqualified deferred compensation plans, equity-based executive compensation plans, and individual employment and severance agreements. He also advises clients on the complexities of merger and acquisition transactions and the evolving landscape of health care reform.

Bruce's key representations include successfully guiding a large pension fund through tax compliance and ERISA fiduciary duty challenges, advising a major corporation on its extensive equity compensation awards program, and providing critical legal assistance in the negotiation and compliance of senior executives' employment agreements under Internal Revenue Code sections 409A and 457(f). He has also supported litigators in the pursuit or defense of employee benefits claims and ERISA plan violations.

Recognized for three consecutive years named to the New York Metro Super Lawyer listing in Employee Benefits/ERISA, Bruce is also a certified public accountant in New York. He earned his J.D. from John Marshall Law School and his B.S., cum laude, from the State University of New York at Albany. Bruce Wolff is a resident of Livingston, New Jersey.
